Mode of Action:

1. ALS Inhibitors / Amino Acid Synthesis Inhibitor:-The novel mechanism of action attributed to ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitors.
2. Enzymes are common to the biosynthesis of the branch-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, and isoleucine).
3. This class of chemicals affects seedling growth. Older plants exhibit varied signs of malformation, stunting, and reduced seed production.
4. It has long residual activity.

Method of Application:

1. Time of application and crop stage:
2. Direct Seeded Rice: 15-25 days after sowing at 2-5 leaf stage of weeds.
3. Transplanted Rice: 10-15 days after transplanting at 2-5 leaf stage of weeds.
4. Weather Conditions: Should be applied preferably in the morning and evening. Do not spray against wind directions.
5. Water: Clean water to be used for spray.
6. Application technique, equipment type, nozzle type:
7. Clean application equipment thoroughly by using a detergent or commercial spray cleaner.
8. Triple rinse the equipment before and after applying herbicide.
9. Apply herbicide with recommended dose using knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan or floodjet nozzle using 500 L/ha quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage.
10. Spraying Instruction: Spray uniformly in the direction of wind. Ensure thorough coverage ofthe weeds.

Dosage: 

1. 40gm per acre

Instruction For Mixing: 

1. Take the measured quantity of herbicide and add to it a small quantity of water. Stir thoroughly using a rod or stick and then add the remaining quantity of water, agitate well to form final spray solution.
